Meet The Baker

Hey! I’m Monica, also known as Kindred Hearts. I’m a professional pastry chef specializing in plant-based pastries, modern cakes, and sweet treats, with a focus on ethical and sustainable ingredient sourcing. I draw inspiration from our community, the changing seasons, and local farms.

All the cocoa and chocolate I use come from a certified B-Corp company that offers traceable, fair-trade products. My spices are single-origin, all flours come from an employee-owned, certified B-Corp, and most of my produce is locally sourced. I also ensure that all sugar is organic and never bone-char filtered.

I’m deeply committed to fostering a more equitable and democratic food system. From thoughtful ingredient sourcing to providing Pay What You Can opportunities, I believe small, intentional choices can create a big impact.

How to purchase…

Pick ups will be available at LOCATION TBA. Additional pick up days, special occasion bakes, and pop ups will be announced via social media.
